Ironic, Imoral and Politically incorrect. These are three characteristics that can be found on the Strip no Altar songs.
Founded during 2008, the band has an irreverent and instigant proposal on the lyrics, while the instrumental can be discrebed as a straight and powerfull cross-over between old school punk rock, californian hardcore and heavy metal.
Even in 2008, the band released it's first EP called Voner, wich had a great repercussion and acceptance from the crowd.
With Hud Souza on the drums, Kadu Victor on the bass and Plinio Scambora on the guitar and lead vocals, the trio accumulate solid experience on the stage, playing on several gigs during 2009.
After a successful tour, the Strip no Altar hit the studio again and prepares their full lenght debut album: "The Hell Soundtrack". The great innovation is the new direction that the band is following, composing and writing in english, but without losing the creativity and humor on the lyrics.
The members of the band believe that artists like Chuck Berry, Bill Haley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Johnny Cash and Buddy Holly, showed the world how a rock artist must behave himself. And this is the cause that Plinio, Kadu and Hud fight for: Respect for the Rock 'n Roll!
