Meet the band THE RUMMIES

The Rummies Stockholm is a Swedish act that mixes punkrock with rock and folkmusic,  sprung from the bands Mansic/Hate Is Just A Feeling. In august 2010 their debute single  is digitally released by APX Music together with Musichelp, a recording done by the band  and mixed by Johan Brorson. The tracks could work as a signature for The Rummies where  "Too Old To Die" cries out Here's for the road I have choosen and "Rummies Anthem" clarifies the need of a drink or two after a week of hard labour.

The Rummies is the result of ten years of street punk, punkrock and folkmusic with [sic], Mansic and Hate Is Just A Feeling. In 2009 Marc went from guitar and violin to just
violin and the band focused even more on folk music. Mansic released two albums,  "Everyday Is A Tragedy" and "Beautygone" and Hate Is Just A Feeling released "The Road To  Kingdom Come" and a vinyl EP, "Land Of Glory", in the US. The bands toured Europe several times.

Nick, the lead singer and guitarist is a relic from the swedish punkrock scene in the  80's with bands like Sighstens Grannar. Rats, the drummer and vocalist is a highly  appreciated drummer in the pop band Mitt Piano. He is also working with his solo project
Black Black Sheep. Marc, on violin, played with Två Fisk Och En Fläsk, a folkrock  ensamble in the 90's. He has also been playing his violin in pubs in the Old Town of  Stockholm end elsewhere. Mick, the bassist, was the founder of the long lasting band AS
during the 80’s and started [sic] together with Nick.
