Recognized as one of the most active chilean metal bands, Nuclear has always displayed overfilled live intensity along with a heavy skull-crushing sounding.
Since their early days in the northern city of Arica the band proved to emphasize musical determination based on attitude and hard work.
After some line-up changes in 2005, Nuclear found their state-of-the-art formation. Matias Leonicio (Vocals), Francisco Haussmann (Guitars), Sebastián Puente (Guitars), Eugenio Sudy (Drums) and Raimundo Correa (Bass Guitar).
With this line-up the album "Heaven Denied" was released on May 2006 and it consisted in almost 46 minutes of rage and heavy thrash metal to the bone.
Two years later, Nuclear hit the studios again and recorded “Ten Broken Codes” album (2008). A massive amount of non stoppable sonic violence registered in 9 tracks released in Chile and Mexico.
In 2009, a new release came up with "Mosh Detonation". A live bootleg registered during "Maldito Metal" gig at Santiago de Chile. This work is available for downloading at: http://www.nuclear.cl/moshdetonation.
Through the years the band has never stopped playing live. Hundreds of live reviews, a bunch of underground metal awards and the possibility to share stage and/or tour with international acts like Brujería, Destruction, Torture Squad, Paul Di Anno, Toxic Holocaust, Grave, 1349, Joey Belladonna, Hirax, Kathaarsys, Transmetal, Denial, Jesus Martyr, Mortal Sin and innumerable chilean acts has positioned Nuclear to be one of the most dynamic chilean metal band over the last decade.
Nowadays the band just released their third studio album called "Jehovirus". It was recorded and mixed in Santiago - Chile by Sebastián Puente (AudioCustom) and mastered in UK by Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, Evile & many others).
